2010年デンマーク・コペンハーゲンにて結成されたHexisは1枚のアルバムと数々のバンドとのスプリットを経て2014年に最新作"Abalam"をリリース。これまでにRoskildeをはじめとする多くの主要フェスに出演し、オーディエンスに圧倒的なインパクトを与えてきた彼らのショウはCVLTNationをはじめとする数々のアンダーグラウンドメディアから絶大な賛辞を寄せられている。デビュー当初にはCeleste,Deafheavenのフォロワー的な捉え方をされていたことも事実だが2014年にリリースされた最新作"Abalam"以降、明らかに周囲の反応は彼らのオリジナリティを評価するものへと変化している。それは”Abalam”というアルバムに対してだけでなく、今作によってより一層大きく花開いた彼らのライブアクトの完成度や芸術性、つまりバンドそのものをも評価しているということに他ならない。海外シーンにおけるHexisへの評価が果たして本物なのか、それともただのハリボテなのか。2010年代に入り急激にその姿を変貌させつつある"ブラッケンド・ハードコア"と呼ばれる音楽の最前線を体感せよ！
